Ms. Wyllie's career began working for a research and development company in Fairbanks, Alaska after a summer vacation as a teenager back in 1974. She was hired as an Expediter and soon secured a drafting position. As a drafter she generated alignment sheets and borehole logs for the 800 mile long Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline using pen and ink. The project lasted 3 years.
She moved back to California where she grew up and continued her focus on the new computer technology. At that time she was working for a company using Ceads Civil Software on a Wang computer (DOS operating system). There was no graphics screen just lines of code and text. As the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory began using AutoCAD in the area, consultants started to follow.
In 1990 she purchased her first home office computer, an "IBM Compatible Clone", which was built to her specifications via a Silicon Valley Tech company.
She expanded her CADD experience in various disciplines over the years working for Land Surveyors, Civil Engineers, Land Planners and Landscape Architects. Moving to New York in 1995 she continued working for Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers, while working and learning at home on the side. She began her CADD business in 2011.
